Amogh Symphony foi fundada como um projeto experimental em 2004. O Ashwamedh EP foi lançado em 2005 e foi distribuído em cópias limitadas . O EP foi reconhecida por influências no metal progressivo, que vão desde a música oriental ao jazz, e reuniu uma recepção positiva dos ouvintes. Dentro de 4 anos de existência do projeto e caos no underground os heavy metais asiáticos, que inspirou toda uma nova geração de bandas Math Metal não apenas em seu país Índia, mas em todo o mundo. Evidências indicam claramente que Amogh Symphony é um dos pioneiros da nova geração do movimento da música progressiva na Índia (que foi originalmente iniciado pelo poderoso Trilok Gurtu na Índia).
Amogh Symphony was founded as an experimental project in 2004. The
EP Ashwamedh was released in 2005 and was distributed in limited copies
for reviews. The EP was recognized for influences in its unique
progressive metal sound, ranging from eastern music to jazz, and
gathered a positive reception from listeners and reviewers. Within 4
years of existence of this project and mayhem in the underground
circuit of Asian metal, it inspired a whole new generation of
Experimental/Metal bands not just in his country India but across the
globe. Reports and evidences clearly indicates that Amogh Symphony is
one of the pioneer of the new generation of Progressive music movement
in India(which was originally started by the mighty Trilok Gurtu in
India).
