O álbum servirá como a Luz para 2011 é extremamente foi bem recebido. Foos frontman Dave Grohl também fez uma aparição no novo Queens Of The Stone Age álbum, embora ele não fez turnê com a banda desta vez para fora.

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has confirmed that the lads are starting work on a brand new album!
“We’re getting started,” he tells Billboard. “We’re getting our ideas together. Dave has his brain working overtime, like usual, and he’s got a lot of great ideas, both musically and conceptually — none that I can speak of at this moment, but it’s going be great.”
The album will serve as the follow-up to 2011′s extremely well-received Wasting Light. Foos mainman Dave Grohl also made an appearance on the new Queens Of The Stone Age album, although he hasn’t toured with the band this time out.
