Blacklisters formada em 2008, ganhando rapidamente uma reputação COM suas perfomaces ao  vivo formidáveis  e agressivos, performances com toques de  humor negro. Sua música tem atraído comparações com o Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Pissed Jeans e Kong. A banda já lançou dois EPs,Swords (Best Enemies), e Belt Party (Childhood Sweetheart).

    

continuam a sobreviver através de shows com Melt Banana, Rolo Tomassi e Chickenhawk entre muitos outros. bem como ser escolhido paratocar na BBC Apresentando palco em festivais Leeds e Reading. Eles terminaram o ano com a gravação de um novo caminho para uma futura 10 "divisão entre Dance to the Radio e Brew.

amongst many others. 2010 saw them join tours by Pulled Apart by Horses and Kong, as well as being picked to play the BBC Introducing stage at Leeds and Reading Festivals. They ended the year by recording a new track for a forthcoming 10” split between Dance to the Radio and Brew.
