Cult of Luna está retornando para turnê em 2013, mostrando seu primeiro álbum de estúdio em 5 anos: "Vertikal '
O álbum será lançado no início do ano, e é tematicamente influenciado por 'Metropolis' o filme: um cenário hipnótico de máquinas e repetição. Antes de começar a escrever nós desejamos encontrar um tema que de uma forma muito direta poderia ser mostrado através da música, e esperamos ter conseguido isso. Nós desenvolvemos estruturas claras - muito lineares, recusando-se a complicar mais o processo de escrita.
Percebemos que os fãs estavam esperando algo de nós para voltar para a arena ao vivo , mas não estávamos interessados em fazer shows antes tínhamos o novo material pronto. Houve mudanças, e nós queria voltar em nossos próprios termos com algo completamente novo. É muito importante para nós transpor a idéia de um novo álbum o ao vivo, para não derrapar , e para os fãs que temos trabalhado, você vai ouvir isso muito em breve.

Cult of Luna is returning to tour in 2013, showcasing their first studio album in 5 years: ‘Vertikal’
The album will be released at the beginning of the year, and is thematically influenced by the film ‘Metropolis’: a hypnotic backdrop of machinery and repetition. Before we started writing we were keen to find a theme that in a very direct way could be shown through the music, and we hope to have achieved this. We developed clear structures – very linear, refusing to over complicate the writing process.
We realise fans have been waiting for what seems like an age for us to return to the live arena properly, but we were not keen on playing shows before we had the new material ready. There have been changes, and we wanted to come back on our own terms with something completely new. It is very important for us to transpose the idea of a new album into the live setting, to not tread water, and to include the fans in what we’ve been working on; you will be hearing this very soon.
Tickets for all shows in will be on sale this Monday, 8th October... this is part 1...
