Steak Number Eight -Materia Com A Nova Banda de Sludge Metal da Belgica #Metal #dezeer

No norte da Bélgica, numa tranquila cidade  média situada no coração da região Flanders no centro histórico. Bondes deslizam pelas ruas laterais estreitas e e os espaços abertos de inúmeras praças da cidade, ladeado por imponentes edifícios medievais ainda ornamentadas. Casais jovens e bonitos toma gole café  como eles vêem pequenos barcos de turistas  lentamente pelo  rio grande  que divide a cidade. Em outros lugares, com vários  de cerveja forte locais fora de um dos inúmeros bares ainda desafiadoramente único, a maioria dos que se parecem mais velhos do que a  cidade, o ar limpo e um sentimento intangível de relaxamento paira na atmosfera. Não em todos os lugares, porém, como crescendo nos corações escuros nas ruas de tras da cidade, enrolados em uma nuvem de cogumelo de fumaça , vem o som inconfundível e travesso. É o lado errado da meia-noite e depois de um dia pesado indulgência sludgey, pós-metálicos do  Steak Number Eight  de um dos mais famosas bandas.

Na loja de Ghent tatto s nas primeiras horas da manhã com uma das mais feroz e exicitantes  bandas de metal para surgidas  na Bélgica ? Vamos voltar um pouco, vamos. Metal Hammer  foi convidado para passar alguns  dias com o jovem quarteto para comemorar a conclusão do  seu novo LP, The Hunt, (que você pode ter pego montado na capa destas páginas sagradas) e comemorar que eles podem, como nos dois anos desde a seu lançamento  a banda viu sua ascensão  _ não menos aqui no Reino Unido graças a alguns passeios pequenos e manchete em algumas  turnê .

Já que tudo é caos , um inferno muita coisa  mudou para nós, o vocalista / guitarrista Brent Vanneste nos diz sobre com uma bebida  em mãos  "É legal porque cada vez  voltamos para o Reino Unido, temos a sensação de que estamos que já estivemos aqui em nossos primeiros shows no Reino Unido um monte de rapazes e raparigas vinham até nós depois como "Eu louvi  vocês através da HAMMER! é estranho, mas é  maravilhoso"

E também aqui na Bélgica, eles pensam que nós fsomos o A-ha do Reino Unido! O sorridente baterista Joris Casier. "Nós ouvimos pessoas perguntando, como, "Então, agora na Inglaterra você nunca tem que trabalhar, certo?"

"mais se a pressão que eu senti escrevendo este álbum foi realmente no momento do Allis Chaos foi lançado porque as reações foram tão positivos" Ele continua "Eu estava começando a pensar 'Merda, eu posso escrever um álbum melhor do que este! Mas uma vez que começou a tocar e ensaiar as novas músicas, que é quando começamos a obter a confiança de volta

Brincadeiras à parte, com o número Steak Number Eight The  Hutch ,  guitarras que permeiam o grunge-contaminados  hiper-energitico, criou um álbum que todos de uma vez capta todos os lados da banda - a maturidade e a loucura - e acreditar em nós, não há muito o último! Então,o que faz  nossa música nos levar:  ver o mundo através da nossa música seria fantástico ", explica Joris.
"Eu quero que sejamos os novos reis do rock  atmosférico", ri Brent. "Não apenas na Bélgica, mas no mundo"

Grent in northern Belgium, in a quiet medium sized city situated in the heart of the historic region of Flanders countr. Trams glide through the narrow side streets and and the open spaces of countless city squares, flanked by impressive medieval buildings still ornamented. Young couples beautiful algresdco sip coffee as they see small tourist boats putter slowly along the great river that divides the city sthe. Elsewhere, arty types stundenty down liters of strong beer locations outside of one of the numerous bars still defiantly single, most who look older than the city itslef, clean air and a sense of relaxation intangible hovers in the atmosphere . Not everywhere, however, as growing in the hearts dark backsstreets city, wrapped in a mushroom cloud of acrid smoke harish thick, comes the unmistakable sound of mischievous laughter and pain maiacal. It's the wrong side of midnight and after a heavy day indulgence sludgey, metal powders up Steak Number one of the most famous salons tatto of Ghent and, in a move that is sure to regret in the morning, guitarist Cis demand being tattooed

Let's back up  a little , shall we. Hammer  has been invited to spend a couple of days in the lowlands by the enviously young quartet to celebrate tye completion and imminet release  fo their new LP, The Hunt, Follow-up to 2011's incendiary AllI s Chaos (which you might have picked up mounted on the cover of these hallowed pages) And celebrate  they might, as in the two  years since its released  the band have seen their profile rise  dramatically _ not least here  in the UK thanks to some  small headline tours and a coveted spost on Hammer's Razors tour ,alongside Feed The Rhinno and fellow youngsters Marmozets

since All is Chaos came out , a hell of a lot  has  changed for us, vocalist/guitarris Brent Vanneste tells us over a morew civilised  drink earlier in teh day" It's cool because every time we come  back to the UK we have  the feeling that we're little bigger than before at  a lot  our first shows in the UK a lot of guys and girls were  coming up  to us afterwards like ' I lheard you guys  through HAMMER ! It's weird but amazing"

And also here in Belgium  they think  that we've made it over athere in the UK ! Chips  in perna-grinning  drummer  Joris Casier . "We have people asking, like, 'So, now you've m ade it in England you never have to work, right"

"most if the pressure  i felt writing this album was actually at the moment AllIs Chaos was released because the reactions were so positive" He continues "I was starting to think ' Shit, can  I write  a better album than this ?! But once we started playing and  rehearsing the new songs, that's when we started to get the confidence back

Jokes aside,with  the Hutch Steak Number  Eight  have , in crafting songs  taht mel  the oceanic cascades  of pounding, contoting  guitars  of the likes to grunge- tainted slabs of hyper-energitic sludge, created an album  that all at once captures all sides of the  band - the maturity and the lunacy - and  believe us, there's plenty  of the latter ! So, what does far our music acan take us : to be albe to see the world through our music would be awesome", explains Joris.
"I want us to be  the new kings of atmospheric sludge -core rock"  laughs  Brent. "Not just in Belgium, but in the world "
