Mastodon: new album incoming!
Mastodon have revealed that they’re busy ploughing away at a brand new album! Hooooraaaay!
“For those of you who are interested, yes, we have been VERY busy writing and putting songs together for the next studio Mastodon album,” confirm the band in their statement. “We are down at our space hammering out riffs that can be friends and working our fingers to the bone to put out another great album.”
Mastodon’s last mighty opus, 2011′s fucking spectacular The Hunter, was crowned our Album of the Year in the end-of-year critics’ polls, so the bar’s set pretty damn high. Our prediction: Riffs. And some proggy stuff.
