BOMBUS- Bombando o Novo Cenário

 

Bombus nasceu em 2008 do desejo de criar algo musicalmente, direto e primitivo, mas ainda sem ser óbvio. Como Conan, o Bárbaro de  óculos . Influências vieram naturalmente de bandas antecessores  com o mesmo interesse no riff forte e da força elétrica que faz todos vibrar. A banda rapidamente criou seu próprio som que faltava.                                                                                                                                                     Eles são difíceis de

colocar um rótulo. Isso nunca foi o propósito da música, mas desde  que  Bombus considerou "rotular" como  uma maneira para que as pessoas se confirmasse que algo está ok para ouvir, que era totalmente bom.

O álbum de estréia auto-intitulado (Mourningwood Recordings) veio em 2010 e foi aclamado pelos jornalistas de toda a Suécia. O álbum acabou no topo da parada  sueca com uma classificação média de 4,2 em 5. A banda foi nomeada no mesmo ano para "Band Of The Week" por Fenriz (Darkthrone).

Bombus  desde o seu aclamado álbum de estreia,played, played and played . E tocou em clubes ... do Pólo Norte (sim), meia garagens vazias em clubes de motociclistas alemães não importa. Muito grande, muito pequeno, muito estranho ou muito longe não existe.

Bombus já conseguiram gravar a sequencia do sucesso de estréia. O álbum é misturado por Fred Estby (Dismember / Necronaut) e é, de acordo com fontes confiáveis, mais difícil, mais suave, mais rápido, mais lento e insanamente muito melhor do que o seu antecessor.

Bombus was born in 2008 out of the desire to create something musically tight, direct and primal but still without being obvious. Like Conan the Barbarian with reading glasses. Influences came naturally from musical predecessors with the same interest in the tough riff and the electrical force that causes chests to vibrate. The band quickly created their own sound that lacked and still lacks musical counterpart. They were quickly told that they were difficult to place and hard to put a label on. This was never the purpose of the music, but since Bombus considers “labeling” as mostly a way for people to get it confirmed that something is ok to listen to, that was totally okay.
The self titled debut album (Mourningwood Recordings) came in 2010 and was hailed by journalists all over Sweden. The album ended up in the top of the Swedish review chart with an average rating of 4.2 out of 5. The band was nominated the same year for “Band Of The Week” by Fenriz (Darkthrone).
Bombus have since their acclaimed debut album, played, played and played. And played… Flashy club gigs, The North Pole (yep), half empty garages in Avesta or German biker clubs does not matter. Too big, too small, too odd or too far away doesn’t exist.
Bombus has now managed to record the sequel to the hit debut. The album is mixed by Fred Estby (Dismember/Necronaut) and is, according to reliable sources harder, softer, faster, slower and insanely much better than its predecessor.
Bombus are one of those things you just should not miss. So don´t.
