Próximo álbum do FFDP Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell, Volume 1 apresenta contribuições do Soulfly e Sepultura além de vocalista Jamie Jasta do Hatebreed e do Rob Halford Judas Priest.
"Meu queixo caiu no chão pra caralho rápido. "

Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody got upset when he first heard Max Cavalera’s guest vocal on the band’s next album.
Fortunately Zoltan Bathory was there to correct him – and call him a “dumbass.”
FFDP’s upcoming record The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell, Volume 1 features contributions from the Soulfly and Sepultura vocalist plus Hatebreed’s Jamie Jasta and Judas Priest’s Rob Halford.
Moody tells Westword: “Everybody knows I’m a huge Sepultura and Soulfly fan. So that was a no-brainer – I asked Max and he was so happy to try something.
“The funny thing is, when he sent it back to me, he sang his parts in Portuguese – and nobody told me.
“So I’m sitting in the studio listening back and I ask, ‘Did he change the fucking lyrics? Did he not like the song?’
“Zoltan was sitting next to me and he says: ‘Dumbass! It’s in Portuguese,’ and I was like, ‘Oh… that’s great!’”
Moody says working with Halford was the “most surreal moment” of his career – especially when he refused to record his part at his own studio and send it down the wire.
“We heard he was too busy doing the Priest album,” Moody says. “About a week later he got the song and listened to it. He called us directly and said: ‘I’m not only going to do the song, I’m going to fly to Vegas and do it with you in the studio.’
“My jaw hit the floor so fucking fast. I thought it was a joke. If you’d told me 20 years ago that this was going to happen… It was fantastic.”
The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell, Volume 1 is out July 29 via Eleven Seven. FFDP, who are featured in the current edition of Metal Hammer, on sale now, tour the UK with Avenged Sevenfold at the end of the year:
Nov 30: Manchester Arena
Dec 1: London Wembley Arena
Dec 5: Birmingham LG Arena
